Trans Nzoia Water and Sewerage Company (TRANSWASCO) held its end-of-year thanksgiving celebrations at the company’s compound, marking a day of gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment. The event, guided by the profound words from Deuteronomy 23:21, “If you make a vow to the Lord your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the Lord your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of sin,” served as a reminder of the blessings and opportunities the company has received throughout the year.
The thanksgiving ceremony was graced by notable guests, including CECM for Water, Environment, and Natural Resources, CPA Boniface Wanyonyi, Board Chair Chami Jamii, Acting Managing Director Lucy Njeri, senior management, and members of the TRANSWASCO staff. Together, they celebrated the year’s achievements and milestones.
In their speeches, the CECM, Board Chair, and Acting Managing Director commended the dedication, resilience, and hard work demonstrated by everyone at TRANSWASCO. They highlighted the company’s successes and the importance of teamwork in driving positive outcomes for the people of Trans Nzoia County.
The speakers emphasized the need to carry forward the lessons learned, maintain a spirit of collaboration, and stay true to TRANSWASCO’s mission of enhancing lives through sustainable water and sanitation services. The event concluded with a shared commitment to serving the community, fostering a culture of excellence, and building a brighter, sustainable future for all.
