Visit the customer service center to collect an application form for a new water connection.
Customer care officers are available to assist in filling out the form and submitting it once completed.
Premises Survey and Account Setup:
Within 48 hours of submitting the application, a survey of the customer premises will be conducted to determine the connection requirements.
An account number will be issued to the customer, who can then make the necessary payment for connection charges and required materials.
Plumbing Inspection:
After the required plumbing work is completed by the customer, staff will inspect the work to ensure it meets the required standards before any service connection can proceed.
Connection Installation:
The water connection will be completed within seven days after the necessary pipe-laying work is finalized.
Meter Installation and Deposit:
A water meter will be installed, and a refundable deposit (per tariff guidelines) will be collected.
The deposit is refundable within a month after account termination, provided any outstanding bill is paid, and the customer submits a written termination request.
Customer Information:
During installation, the customer will receive guidance on service line maintenance, steps to take in case of leaks, and advice on economical water usage.
Meter Accessibility and Monthly Reading:
All water meters will be installed in an accessible location for monthly reading, as well as for disconnection, reconnection, and servicing or replacement as needed.
Billing:
The first water bill will be issued within one month from the installation date.
