Trans Nzoia Water and Sanitation Company Ltd (TRANSWASCO) wishes to inform all suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders of an important change in procurement procedures following the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Circular No. PPRA/03/2025 dated 27th June 2025.
In compliance with the Government of Kenya’s directive, all procurement processes for the Financial Year 2025/2026 and beyond will now be conducted exclusively through the End-to-End Electronic Government Procurement System (e-GPS).
Key points to note:
- All procurement for FY 2025/2026 will be processed solely via the e-GPS platform.
- Initiation, awarding, or contracting through framework agreements/contracts for FY 2025/2026 has ceased immediately until after the e-GPS roll-out.
- Existing contracts remain valid; further management guidelines will be issued by PPRA.
This transition is part of the government’s ongoing reforms to enhance efficiency, transparency, competition, accountability, and value for money in public procurement.
We encourage all current and prospective suppliers to register and familiarize themselves with the e-GPS platform to ensure smooth participation in upcoming procurement opportunities.
